A Place for Teens!
We have programs designed for Middle School and High School youth which include opportunities to study the Word of God together in Sunday school and separate large group meetings for the high school (G-3) and middle school (Excel) students. The groups enjoy social events, ministry activities, retreats, camps and mission trips. Smaller discipleship groups meet for accountability, study, prayer and fellowship.
G3
What is G3? G3 stands for “Give God Glory!” The High School Ministry at Le Mars Bible Church is committed to helping students know and understand God’s Word. We use the wisdom from God’s Word to help students work through the difficult situations and pressures that they face on a daily basis. This is done through Bible teaching and many activities that provide a challenging Christian environment with plenty of fellowship and fun, all with the goal of Glorifying God! Our Goal “We proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, so that we may present every man complete in Christ.” Colossians 1:28 We do this by: 1. Teaching our teens the Word: a. The Salvation message b. The whole counsel of the Word 2. Helping our teens walk with God a. By example b. By equipping them to defend their faith c. Excel
What is Excel? Middle School is a crucial time in everyone’s life. It’s a period of time in which values are established as students begin the journey towards young adulthood. The Middle School ministry at Le Mars Bible Church is dedicated to helping our students know and understand the Bible. We use the wisdom from God’s Word to help them through the daily difficulties and decisions in life. We do this through Bible teaching and many activities that provide a fun and challenging Christian environment for our students to grow together in maturity and knowledge. Excel is open to all youth in 6th-8th grade, come join us! Our Goal We want our ministry to be characterized by four E’s: Exalt, Equip, Encourage and Evangelize. Our main teaching times focus on these goals: Sunday School is an important aspect of coming to understand God’s Word. The focus here is upon structured teaching of the truth of God’s Word in a small-group setting where feedback and participation are welcomed. Youth Group is another important time for the students to hear God’s Word taught. Students receive verse-by-verse teaching from the Bible as well as topical lessons on key issues young teens face in their daily lives. We also have A LOT of fun worshiping & fellowshipping together! Outreach Events are held monthly and designed to be a fun & energetic time to invite friends. Some of our past events include: The Amazing Cookie Race, Cereal Night & Duct Tape Challenge!
