Sunday Mornings
Sunday School
Children's Sunday School meets from 9:30am-10:30am. LBC hosts classes for children ages 2 years old through 5th grade.
Kids Church
Kingdom Kids is a children's ministry for kids ages 3-5 during the second worship service on Sunday mornings. Children are dismissed during the meet and greet portion of the worship service, and follow a leader from the sanctuary to the Kingdom Kids room. The curriculum used for Kingdom Kids highlights specific stories and characters of the Bible that teach children about the Gospel.
KIDZONE is a children's ministry for Kindergarten through second grade students during the second worship service on Sundays. Children are dismissed during the meet and greet of the worship service, and follow a leader from the sanctuary to the Kingdom Kids room. This program serves an average of 15-20 students on a weekly basis. Each week, the children sing songs, listen to a Bible lesson, complete a corresponding craft or activity, play games, and eat a snack.
Nursery (Ages 0-2)
1. Safety and security
- We commit to making our nursery a safe and secure area for your children. We will do everything we can to make sure that your child has an enjoyable experience.
2. Background Checks
- We require every adult volunteer to complete a background check before they are allowed to serve in the nursery. We take safety very seriously.
3. Accountability
- We staff at least one adult during all nursery time slots
- LBC has installed security cameras in our nursery and the footage is periodically reviewed by the LBC staff.
We love hosting visiting children. Please keep in mind that we do ask all visitors to fill out a registration form for each child before checking them into the nursery. These forms can be found by the nursery check-in counter.
Safety is a priority at LBC. Each child must be checked in and out of the nursery. Nursery volunteers will help you through this process.
Nursing mothers are welcome to use this room as a quiet place to feed and change thier baby while listening to the livestream of the service.
AWANA
There is no better time to begin teaching people about the Word of God than when they are young. The Awana program does just that each Wednesday night with students aged 2 to 5th grade. Our desire is to begin building a strong foundation early in life and help the students learn and grow. Awana is an international ministry to reach kids through energetic game activities, Bible based teaching experiences and small group time with friends. Our weekly attendance averages around 120 kids and around 50 volunteers to help supervise and facilitate the experience. Please contact us with any questions.
Vacation Bible School
Each Year LBC hosts a Vacation Bible School. We schedule our VBS for the first full week in June. Children ages 3-entering 5th grade are invited to attend.
