Guests

Hello Friend!

We’re thrilled that you are taking a few minutes to get to know Le Mars Bible Church here on our website. God has done great things here at our church. He has brought us together and given us a genuine love for His Son Jesus, for each other, and for the people around us. Our mission is to point as many people to our great Savior as we can, and to keep on growing in our love for and obedience to Jesus. We trust every word of the Bible, and believe in its power to change people’s lives for the better. We would love to have you come visit us this Sunday!

In Christ,

~Pastor Mike

What to Expect

What to expect

Gift Bags

We love our guests! When you visit, be sure to grab a gift bag at the welcome table in the foyer. Inside each bag is a Bible, a coffee tumbler, and some information about LBC. These bags are our gift to you! We love connecting with everyone who visits, feel free to fill out a visitor card while you are at the welcome table.

What is the Preaching like?

Preaching is a central focus of our worship time and sermons typically last 35-40 minutes. It is in this time that we receive instruction from God through His written Word. Our pastors practice expositional preaching: the pastor will draw his message straight from the Bible and offer clear, practical, and straightforward application.

What is the music like?

Our style of musical worship is blended. Both services are the same each week, but we have several different worship teams that rotate the responsibility to lead worship. One week we might have a more traditional feel led by vocalists and a piano, and the next week we might have a more contemporary feel with a full band. In the same morning, we often will sing a classic hymn of the faith alongside more contemporary songs with God-honoring lyrics.

What accommodations do you have for children?

Our desire is to minister to your entire family, from the youngest to the oldest. A nursery for infants through 2 years old is provided during both morning services and during the evening service. A cry room and a nursing mother’s room with live video feeds from the worship center are available whenever you need them. During the 10:45am service, we also offer Children’s Church for ages 3 through 2nd grade. Children planning to attend Children’s Church sit with their families during the first part of the service, and are dismissed from the service before the sermon begins.

Am I expected to give?

You may notice that we do not pass an offering plate during the worship services at Le Mars Bible Church. This is done intentionally to maximize our time on Sunday mornings for worshiping the Lord and studying His Word. If you are a visitor to Le Mars Bible Church, we do not expect anything from you financially. Instead, we want you to receive the life in Christ Jesus that He offers to you at no price.

If you become a follower of Jesus and a regular attendee of Le Mars Bible Church, we encourage you to worship the Lord through regular, cheerful giving as the Lord directs you. There are offering boxes provided at the back of the worship center where you may place your offerings. We believe that financial giving is an important aspect of a believer’s worship. It is through this giving that the ministries of the church are enabled to go forward.
